Skyrim: 10 Years Old

11/11/11 (November 11, 2011) was the year when #Skyrim first came out. That was ten years ago. That's a long time now and life has changed a plenty since then. And while I moved on to other games, came back to it, and moved on but my memories of that game, the memes, and the experience will always be dear to me. And, of course, I did come out with my own Dovahkiin.

Onyx is definitely my keeper. My male OC from another universe that really fits the bill on how I would want my male characters act. In a way he's immature, a bit brash, and at times VERY incapable of thinking rationally. A capable warrior and with a power of a demigod, Onyx is my image of a complicating and at times frustrating main character. I have #commissioned him a ton and will probably continue to do so--but we all know where my main passion with him really grew.

That's right! #Frozen_Skyrim! The post-Alduin Onyx comes across a visitor from another world--Queen Elsa of Arendelle. Yeah it was crazy idea that spawned from my love of Frozen and the idea of the lovely Elsa meeting with Onyx and having a ... relationship that is somewhat tsundere, unhealthy, but beneficial for the sake of bringing the unlikely visitor back home.

The story may be unfinished, and Elsa may still be in Skyrim but the majority of that story revolves around the tales of a Dragonborn who has grown quite unresolved with his role as the (once) hero of Tamriel's northern province.

And in-game characters, there are many memorable ones. Serana definitely sticking out long with Paarthurnax. 10 years later, and I still adore these characters.

So this is my 10 year acknowledgement to this fantastic game. I know I probably won't jump back in any time soon but I do love the game and I treasures the time I have spent in-game and in fandom. So thank you, to those who made the game to this world. And thank you to the fans who continue to feed the fandom! Here's to the next 10 years then!

Until Next Time!
