Ah! Kaitlin's Front Page again for another year. This time around, we are celebrating the 30th Anniversary! It's Kaitlin Star tied up to a barrel for thirty years! Honestly, I might just make it a thing. Why not, right? It's definitely the #DiD scene that did a lot for me. So with this post, we're going to focus on all the Kaitlin Star-related artwork that I either had a hand on or it's gifted. You never know, someone else might be putting out Kaitlin Star DiD art on their own accord! So let's get to it, shall we?
Commissions
"...You've walked into a set up!"
This department is where I started to get things going in honor of Kaitlin Star's fine moment. This is where the 'editing' occurred because clearly, a few things are missing with this #DiD moment, for sure!
My first attempt for a #Commission to honor "Kaitllin's Front Page".
There was a hiccup with that first commission so another artist had to color it. It's a weird situation, but the result is still something I like!
When Miles finished this commission, I knew Kaitlin's Front Page commission project is going to go wild!
I also had in mind for this commission series that many different art styles are going to touch Kaitlin's Front Page. StudioKatsumi for sure has a certain style.
Renders had to join in as well. I swear this won't be the last! Going to get another commission of Kaitlin in render style one of these days.
Alex is one of my favorite artists to work with. He did some good here!
And why wouldn't I commission Lunara to try her hand? I love her style and I love what she did with Kaitlin here!
Kaitlin Star made an appearance in Arlen's Crusade during Season One. Yeah, Arlen's not going to let this easy tally mark on her belt pass.
Gifts
"Aaahh... HEY!"
There are some kind souls who were willing to support Kaitliln's DiDness.
The 5th Retake of this amazing moment (and a second page?). Kaitlin's second dabbling in 3D Render DiDness. And as always, Fours does some great work and his take on Kaitlin Star is something I am happy for.
Now it's not, by default, Kaitlin Star, yes. But Sarah Brown is Kaitlin Star and let's be honest, her role in VR Troopers wouldn't be as memorable if it wasn't for the fact that she was attractive as heck and she had that DiD moment. So this counts. Also, SaltyTrog is once again responsible for this goodie--courtesy of Napdog86.
Also, it's not Kaitlin but it is Sarah Joy Brown. Another moment where she's tied up with a bomb but this time around, she's gagged. It's a pretty brief and weak scene from General Hospital but at least it's another showing of the beautiful actress in distress. Shame she doesn't have more scenes like this (correct me if I'm wrong).
Other Episodes
Well, Kaitlin's Front Page wasn't the only episode in which Kaitlin got a DiD moment. Funnily enough, she had plenty but none were as close to tease as the episode I continue to highlight. But there are some episodes where Kaitlin Star wore some outfits that would've done well with a moment.
Kaitlin wore a nice outfit at the end of Kaitlin's Front Page. The outfit was nice. If she had a moment with it, would've looked good! Like above.
"Digging for Fire"
The thing with this episode is that she wore a black variant of her floral skirt outfit from the titular episode this post is based on. It's also a bit more on the 'formal' look because she's wearing loafers. It's pretty stylish. Sadly she didn't get a moment so we fixed that.
"Oh, Brother"
This would've been a perfect episode for Kaitlin to get a moment! Rather than the brothers getting captured, it should've been Kaitlin. She deserved it for doing a crossbody finisher on the skugs! Also, if she got pole tied.... mmm! Yes, say it with me: we fixed it.
"Searching for Tyler Steele"
Imagine if an episode is about Kaitlin getting rescued before she's executed by some weirdos still living in the Civil War America timeline. Maybe a time travel episode? Whatever. She'll be held inside a cell, hung upside down before being brought to a wooden pole for execution. Forget Tyler Steele.
So yeah! Happy 30th Anniversary, Kaitlin's Front Page! Believe me, we're far from done with giving Kaitlin Star some love. Kaitlin and her infamous episode had a profound effect on me so... yeah. Here we are some three decades later. Here's to a couple more!
Until Next Time!
