Gaming: Future Endeavors

While gaming isn't the highest priority of my fandom (least, not on my blog), I still very much consider myself a gamer. Though I am VERY selective with my gaming endeavors and for the sake of writing a list for myself and to showcase my shenanigans, this is my somewhat annual post to talk about my seasonal gaming forays. With that said, let's take a look at them, shall we?

Sword and Fairy Together

This game is gorgeous! It's also got beautiful characters that I, for one, was bound to really get enamored by. The gameplay also seems to go in line with my usual antics. I do need some kind of action-RPG in my life and with this outside the realms of Final Fantasy, that is definitely something I can consider healthy. The story seems good as well. Still looking into it more though and it might not be in my gaming shenanigans until 2023.

But seriously, look at these gals and guys! They're really pretty and/or really beautiful! Especially the main gal! Really tempted to get it now but due to certain shenanigans with physical copies and possibly different things to consider, I might have to wait until after 2022, but we'll see.

Release Date: "Out now" (again, physical copy notwithstanding).

Resident Evil 4 Remake

I've always been a huge fan of Leon, Claire, and Ada's run within their respected Resident Evil runs. I played the Resident Evil 2 Remake and I enjoyed it, for sure. I didn't play Resident Evil 3 Remake and from what I heard, it definitely didn't do the RE Remakes justice as RE2 did. Eventually, I do plan on playing it though, but until then, I will be playing RE4 Remake. Day one? Probably not. But I'm going to go for it for a LOT of reasons.

Dare I say I am excited for Ada Wong? She better gets her 'moment'!

Release Date: March 24, 2023

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core Reunion

With Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on the horizon (more on that), I definitely feel like I need to dive back into Crisis Core and actually finish it... hell, I need to finish FFVII R Integrade. Regardless, I am definitely going to try my best to get back into this "PSP Classic". Not sure if that's going to end up being the case; at least not from the aspect of day one time frame.

Zack is definitely cool, but not that big of a fan of him. I, more or less, will be playing it for the sake of going through the Remake timeline in a "cohesive" manner.

Release Date: December 13, 2022

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

I'm trying so hard to find you...

Aren't we all? I was one of the purists who simply wanted a 'screen-for-screen' remake with prettier graphics. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it probably wouldn't have worked out as well as purists think it would have. But I'm pretty excited about this game since I definitely enjoyed FFVII Remake. I definitely SHOULD play Intergrade before then--for sure. Show us Vincent, Elena, Cid! And then some! As we get more coverage throughout the months, I'm going to touch base on it, for sure.

Release Date: Winter 2023

Final Fantasy XIV

If it's not obvious, I'm back to playing this game at a full-time level (as much as time allows). It's not necessarily a "NEW" game but since this game keeps coming out with patches (Manderville Weapons, anyone?) and the eventual expansion, FFXIV is a gift that keeps on going! Masterless.Me will definitely get a whole lot of updates within the next few months--years.

Well, I'm sure I missed a few games that interested me. But here's the PAST VIDEO that I will poke at, whether keeping an eye on it and/or will eventually play. But I'll make a quick list of them here!

MMM-HMM

Stellar Blade / Release Date: 2023

Rise of the Ronin / Release Date: 2024

Street Fighter VI / Release Date: 2023

Well, that's about it! I'll update as more games pique my interest!

Until Next Time!
