Another MHA! One of the Big Three, Tamaki Amajiki, aka Suneater. This guy's an odd one in the anime but he does have some cool things about him. With that said, let's get into the review, shall we?
Again, I probably won't go out of my way to get any more from this wave. A coworker also gifted me a Suneater. But it is a good season.
There are a lot of intricacies in Tamaki's outfit. Honestly, his hairstyle and demeanor don't fit his costume, but the moment he starts activating his quirk, he starts looking a bit more wild and wacky--in the best way possible. For Suneater's POP version, Funko tried its best to showcase most of the things he was able to pull off during the anime. Wings, clamshell, talons, and tentacles! So much going on with this guy's POP. The details put into each molding are something to admire since he isn't a very symmetrical character. As far as the details on his costume, they're pretty much there as well. His pose, while not super dynamic, still really showcases an action pose while ensuring the collector gets to enjoy every bit of the details! Well done in this department, for sure.
Both sides of the POP look drastically thanks to Amajiki's quirk. Once again, pointing how impressed I am with so much things going on.
The paint and colors in general look great. Just about everything is pretty accurate to the show with his costume, hair, and the things he manifests. The painting is executed well with the little details. No complaints at all.
POP: Suneater and POP: Lemillion standing side by side! If I was to choose between the two of these, Amajiki would win. He's got more things going on with him I feel.
A must-have? For me, he is not. The Big Three aren't the characters that I immediately want to watch when we're talking about MHA. However, as a POP, Suneater is a good POP. There's a lot more thought and work put into this one. I can recommend it for sure!
Until Next Time!
