Funko POP: Spoiler

Here we go! Another POP strolling in with dramatic fashion! From the ranks of the Bat-Family, here we have Stephanie Brown, aka Spoiler. I wasn't sure I was going to get this but when I found it in the wild, I had to snag her.

Alright! A DC POP once again! I've been on a roll with Marvel that every once in a while the land where Superman exists has to get some love from me. But I'm very selective with characters and I don't need to get every Batman. But I do like some of the Bat-gals. Pass on most of these. Gotta see how Cassandra Cain looks though.

Not a bobblehead

Right off the get-go, yes! A very active pose for a very agile and nimble character. The sculpting done on Spoiler's cape has this flare, adding to Batman-esque aesthetics. The folds of the cape, the way it spans out like bat wings... it's quite good! Spoiler's costume details like her utility belt, the platings(?) for her suit, and the bat symbol--yeah they're all well done. I love how her hair is sticking out of her hood and it's replicating what it would be doing when she's all jumping into action. I love this pose. I love how the stand plays into her pose. The details of Spoiler's outfit are present so it's a win here.

The colors are pretty great. The purple threads translate well into POP form. The darker tones aren't exactly black, but it's dark enough of a purple to make it seem like it. Also, the transitions between the brighter and darker colors are well executed. My POP doesn't have any blemishes or mishaps. Also, the blonde color is a good contrast. All in all, nothing to complain about.

Batwoman, Spoiler, and TAS Batgirl. All different Batwomen from the many different Earths of the DC universe.

There is a lot of purple with these two. These two are mirrors of each other. Both were destined to take on the mantle of Batwoman and Batgirl respectively but both Helena and Stephanie took on their alias to better protect Gotham. Both amazing POPs, mind you.

A must POP? No. But for the collectors of the Bat-Family, might be a must. It's a good POP with amazing sculpting and a good looking display thanks to her dynamic pose. The colors are sharp and well done. Spoiler/Stephanie Brown is a good POP in an already stacked 2024.

Until Next Time!
