Funko POP: Spider-Man / Miles Morales (Iron Spider)

I completely forgot that Miles got his version of the Iron Spider. Is it cooler than the normal Iron Spider? I don't think so, but the POP looks cool! Another gift from my special friend! Thank you! With all that said, let's review this POP, shall we?

I love this set! There is a Chase for Miles', which I doubt I'm going to be snagging to 'complete' this wave. Truth be told, I'm not entirely sure if I can consider not getting the Chase as an incomplete set... so yeah, we'll just call it complete.

The Chase, while definitely unique and still a good-looking version, doesn't justify the need to go out of the way for a purchase. Unasked variants aren't usually something I'll call a 'must'.

Oh man, he looks good! While I'll always be a bigger fan of the original Iron Spider look, there is something about Miles' design that resonates with me. Maybe it's the colors? Well, we'll get on that. For now, I like the details put into his body for this POP. The gloves, the boots, they all have certain sculpts that give depth and homage to the design. The spider legs (are they also called waldoes?) also have certain design elements that makes them a bit more unique compared to the original. I love how his spider logo is also sculpted differently rather than painted. That pose too! I'm a fan of the Spider-Folks jumping into action and ready to web-sling here and there. Also, has it been said that I'm a fan of figure stands that also act as a means to get these Spider-Folks into dynamic poses? A win in this department in my opinion!

The colors, the mix of red, black, and gold are good. Makes me wonder if the colors are what attracted my friend's attention. Regardless, the gold is vibrant, which plays off to the matted red. The black is just a good dominant color next to the other two, which all in all, mixes well. The pain execution is spot on and I have no complaints. Miles' spider logo is just to the tee!

Parker and Octavius web-slinging with Miles. All of them share their spider-legs (waldoes) moments. They do look good next to each other.

Some of Miles' outfits from the games. The Iron Spider isn't a game suit... least I don't think or a I just didn't pay attention. So different from each other, eh?

The suit looks pretty sick in the comics too! Not sure how Miles got himself his own Iron Spider suit--or if it's even from Stark. Who knows--I don't care as much.

Is this a must? I would say that this is a good-looking POP and the paint/colors on mine are done well. Miles Morales fans can definitely get something out of this POP. I'm not griping one bit since it's gifted but as a POP, it's nice and I do enjoy that it's part of my Spiderverse collection. If you see this one in the wild, get it. It's hard to see it now and 2nd hand market would spike it up the price.

Until Next Time!
