If it's not obvious yet, I do like My Hero Academia. Mount Lady is one of my favorite characters, despite her being there as eye candy and occasional badassery. Glad that she has a POP and it was gifted to me during the Holidays! So let's take a look at her and see how she is, shall we?
Yes, the box has a small defect thanks to the tag that was placed on this thing. But who cares, right? Someone loves me enough to make sure I got this!
Mount Lady's outfit lends her to be the eye candy of the Pro-Heroes (her and Midnight, I swear). Needless to say though, despite her 'look-at-me' role, she really is a bit more conservative with her outfit, skin-tight suit, and all notwithstanding. So with all that said, Funko did a great job putting Yu Takeyama into plastic form--and a 6-inch POP too, no less. Pose-wise, she's being her flirtatious self. Not exactly action or anything like that, but it does fit Mount Lady's personality. Her horns stand tall above her head, and the sculpted lines from her boots to her gloves, the mask, and her suit is done well overall. Her hair is also nice, styled, and accurate to the heroine's anime/manga counterpart.
There are some minor defects when it comes to Mount Lady's coloring. First is her mask: there is some minor bleeding of the purple to her skin. It's not a whole lot but fairly obvious. There are also slight paint defects on her legs (left thigh), which are not too obvious unless you look at it up close. Other than that though, everything else about Mount Lady is colored right. The tan-colored tights contrasting with the purple boots, glove, mask, and chest piece are a nice design. The orange highlights also give another pop for her colors. I've always loved her design and as a POP, it looks good too. Her blonde hair is also pretty accurate so not complaining at all here.
Mount Lady is a pro hero who always reminds Class A that reputation and rapport with the public are important. She's a good enough pro but she's pretty into herself. I mean, why wouldn't she? Maybe one day Jiro and Mina will have other gals join the fray to learn more from Mount Lady, eh?

I've been wanting to get Mount Lady for a long while now. This 6-inch POP had been on my wishlist for some time and I'm glad my friend gifted her to me for the Holidays! I'm so very happy to have her! She's got some paint defects and if one is looking for a POP that is a bit more of an action style, some might be disappointed. For me? It's a cute pose, accurate sculpt, and the colors are mostly intact. I'm pretty happy. She's hard to find in the wild but if you do, check the copy to make sure it's adequate for you! All in all, I can recommend it!
Until Next Time!
