A character from MHA I really thought had some cute moments in MHA. Mina Ashido may not be everyone's top favorite, but I will say that she looks unique and has a pretty effective powerset. Hoping her POP also has the same charm, eh? Let's take a look.
Funny enough I own nothing from this wave. This POP isn't mine either so, yeah, nothing. Toga looks interesting, however, I have other versions of Toga in mind before that one. We'll see though.
Mina's design is an odd one since she's almost entirely a pink-colored character. She's got these antennae on her head and a liquid-acidic-like substance emerges from her hands and feet. She reminds me of a bug, honestly. Her outfit is mostly skin-tight with a mask, vest, and boots. Not a complex character. All of these are present in her POP form. The danglers on her head, that wild short hair, the details of her outfit, her quirk coming out of her hands and feet--it's well done. I love the pose too! It's very dynamic and it shows Mina in action! For an older POP, there's a lot of good sculpting done with this thing.
Her colors look awesome in POP form. The purple and the turquoise mix together pretty well with the leopard-like patterns. The flesh-colored vest is a good juxtaposition along with the brown boots with the same tan-colored highlights. Of course, her pink hair and skin are a standout--love the transparent plastic that acts like her acid projectiles. Maybe her yellow eyes would be good but all in all, Pinky's coloring is more than adequate.
I might as well make an effort to get all of Class 1-A, right? Maybe. There are some lame characters in there.
While she's not my POP, she is a good addition to the MHA collection we have going on in my household. I love the pose and details, the colors are done quite well. Recommend? Yes. I'm not sure how many Pinky fans there are out there but she's unique enough to make her stand out. Her POP is also worth it, I say.
