Funko POP: Michelangeo (TMNT Classic)

Michelangelo had been a long time coming! Now that my friend brought her POP to me, all four of the turtles are together! Well, let's take a look at Mikey first, and then it will all come together! No more delays!

Ya know, Slash is the only one left from this wave. I'm not sure if I'm willing to pull that trigger since the four are all you need, right?

This Party Dude is not a bobblhead!

I have enjoyed this series so far and my love for it carries over to the partying Ninja Turtle! The pose is as simple as the others but again, it showcases the POP's strengths; it allows us to absorb the details placed with this piece. The amount of sculpting that went on the body, with the abs, the shell, the orange bands, and that gritting face--albeit, it ain't the Michelangelo we know, but it's true to the theme of these classics. The nunchuck and the way he is holding it is a pretty well-done POP in this department. Again, they've been consistent!

Just like his brothers, his shell is done well.

The colors are clean and the choice for Mikey's skin is a good shade of green. The orange bands are also done well and the small contrasts like his shell and abs put it all together. The 'plastic-orange' look for the weapon harkens back to classic toys. The paint job is clean and no obvious mishaps. This department did just fine.

The full team is here! Well, funny enough, this isn't the entire set, but it is the full four brothers, and they look awesome together! I'm not sure if Slash is going to join, but my friend said we don't need him.

To finish the set and the four brothers, obviously he is a must. On his own, Michelangelo retains the same level of detail as the other Ninja Turtles and that's all we can ask for. For huge fans of nostalgia and TMNT, this is a good set to nab and display. I, for one, highly recommend him and his brothers.

Until Next Time!
