Funko POP: Jiro Kyoka (MHA)

My Hero Academia! I do enjoy that show quite a bit. I'm one of those odd ones that like characters like Jiro--I know, she ain't exactly the leading role for a very high offensive quirk. But she's a keeper. She adds something to the group even if it's situational or small fractions. So let's check out her POP version, shall we?

From this wave, I'm not sure if there is anything I'd like to get. I don't see a Toga Himiko anywhere so there's that, eh?

Not a bobblehead!

Jiro's outfit isn't too far from the normal outerwear a modern human being is wearing. As of writing this, I'm only up to Season 6 so she might've already gotten a final outfit. With that said, I do like the simplicity of her outfit. She's pretty down to earth, except for the giant headphones and her moving earplugs. The jacket, the contrasting bright shirt against the black tights and boots--the gloves are a bit more cosplay-like, but it works overall. I like her hair, very tomboy-ish but still stylish. Her POP version does its best to get the style, even getting the ripped holes on her shirt. How her hair is sculpted also aligns with how Jiro looks in the show. I do love her pose too! She's standing with a battle-like stance, her quirk about to get to work! There's plenty to like!

I like the details on her headphones.

The colors just mesh together just fine. I love the contrast of her shirt and skin against the darker tones of most of her clothing and hair. I also love the 'shading' added to her hair to replicate Jiro's anime look. It all just really works well together! Simple and well-executed.

These are some of the Class A Heroes students that I came across. Shoto and Mina are not mine while Jiro is. They do look good together, don't they? Am I going to be getting more? While, yes. Most likely.

I got Jiro Kyoka at a good price. I love the details, the pose, and the overall presentation of this POP is just pleasing. I like this one a lot and if one can get it for a good price, pull the trigger. Probably the most accurate and hero-look POP of Jiro.

Until Next Time!
