We have another POP from the franchise Chainsaw Man! I'm excited for this! There's plenty to be excited about! Let's get to the review!
Alright! I do have some of this wave already. I have to say, it's been good so far! Let's check out Chainsaw Man in his POP form!
I watched the anime and I enjoyed it. It's pretty crazy. It's bloody, lewd, and in-your-face kind of deal. This POP... tried to honor the anime's ambiance that much is certain. So this character, Denji/Chainsaw Man, is not a very complicatedly designed character. He's only wearing a button-up, slacks, and tie, and some sneakers. But that's his human form. While still simply dressed, his transformed version is a bit more complex in design. Just a bit. His POP version tried very hard to replicate some of that insanity with the chainsaw for a head, and the grinding saw on the arms--tried hard they did, and in my humble opinion, they did a stellar job that's for sure! Most of that work can be obvious with the amount of details on Denji's head. Wiring, teeth, tongue, and mini chainsaw are well done. So much to gawk at and appreciate. It's also expressive like he's smirking and ready to go. The pose is also pretty good since he's ready to attack. It does a fine job showcasing some of Chainsaw Man's finer details. Honestly, any angle one looks at, one can see the work put into this guy.
The 'movement' with his clothing, the wrinkles, it's all makes this POP far more dynamic than it has the right to be.
The color department is amazing too. The plastic choices are sharp and replicate Chainsaw Man quite well. With the added sculpt work, it all just turned out so sharp (no pun intended).
There's no complaint at all with the coloring. Not one bit.
The amount of details on this guy is just hard to get over.
The three of them together just look right. Chainsaw Man just looks insane next to Makma and Power! A good-looking trio!

I got a LOT of good POPs this year and a lot of them are memorable. There's only a few that will make it to the top five this year though and I'm going to say right now that this Chainsaw Man is a good contender. It's detailed and has an amazing pose. Clean paint job and a good-looking plastic choice. This POP has so much going for it that it's hard to not enjoy it as a collectible. I may not have gotten the chase version but the common on its own, yeah, a definite winning POP. I highly recommend it to fans of the anime or to a POP collector who enjoys a good piece of collectible.
