Yes, that's right! Reviewing Bullseye w/ Raphael now! Without trying to bring down the excitement for this one, I will say that this review won't be as wordy since the POP is almost a repaint of Bullseye w/ Michaelangelo. I'll go over important points that make this one different; so without further adieu, let's go!
My friend found this one in the wild at her local Target. She got the chase sent to her, which was fine, but she wanted Raph. Lo and behold!
This version of the POP is 95% identical to its counterpart. And that's not bad since the idea for the POP is that they are all identical except bandana color, the turtle plush, and the expression--the first two are determined by the Ninja Turtle that the POP is associated with! So the details of the basket, the pizza, the skateboard, they're all present!
We're getting Raphael for the plush. The expressions of both Bullseye and Raph are different but everything else remains the same!
The colors are what make this POP a unique different. The red bandanna for both Bullseye and Raph plushie, the skateboard, and the expressions are what makes all the difference in the world.
Just a slight addition or subtraction of black paint changes the expression and it's awesome!
They just look so cool together! Raphael is the one Ninja Turtle that has significant meaning other than being the cool turtle so there's that. My friend is very happy to have them both!
The chase and the common! Funny how the common is usually the more popular Turtle but, hey, Mikey is the Last Ronin, right (spoilers, I know)?
Much like Bullseye and Mikey, this one is a niche. For me and my friend, this is definitely a must. Got the same details with a color swap but if one collects one turtle, the others are almost-always a must! Here's to hoping we find Leo and Don for a good price.
