Celebrating another year of FFVI's anniversary! It is one of my favorite games and my top three Final Fantasy, EVER. I'm a day late, but let's enjoy some of the fantastic fan art from the community! Some of these are drawn specifically for the 31st anniversary, and some are from years prior. Regardless, they all celebrate FFVI for the beauty that it is. May, the love for Final Fantasy VI continue through the decades. So enough of that, let's go!
I love the group-setting fanart, and I love that style, too. And is Terra drunk or tired? I'm sure she's tired of everything she's gone through!
These fanart series, the pose, the homage, and those colors... yes, akaiie did an amazing job!
A definite iconic moment when Terra rode the Magitek Armor.
While not as popular as Tifa and Aerith, Celes and Tifa does have a little bit of that dynamic, but not as focused. I love these two! Terra is one of my Vixens!
And then there's Locke and Celes! Raw magical power and quick hitter! I wish Celes made it to Dissidia NT.
Terra has three main looks with varying degrees of green or blonde hair: Magitek Knight (the one above, again with variants), Benevolent Maiden (My personal Favorite), and the Pixel Art.

I love the style of this artist. I love how the character's style looks pronounced from the artist's flair.
That's a very imposing picture of Kefka, ain't it?

The Esper Form of Terra stays a little more consistent in terms of aesthetics, colors, and overall vibe. In Dissida NT, we can see different colors for the Esper form, but it's widely known as a bring pink hue with some darker tones for Terra's fur and hair. Unlike Terra's human form--she literally has a lot of variants and artists' take on her outfit.
Relm has gotten a surge of popularity thanks to Dawntrail. I'm glad for it!
Sabin's popularity will always be synonymous with him suplexing the Ghost Train. But people tend to forget that there's more to him than that.
Another picture with the crew together! Pretty sure this artwork is based on their pixel art. I always find it intriguing that there are two canonical looks for all of the FFVI crew!
I love this game. So much. And while I didn't exactly jump on the Falcon when it took off in 1994, I will say that I created my memories with this game. The story starts as a straightforward classic Final Fantasy story with an evil empire, but it becomes much more, gets bigger. The characters, like, of course, Terra Branford, Shadow, Locke, Celes... the music, the world, and the memories! Good times.
Happy 31st birthday, Final Fantasy VI!
