Contest of Champions: Spider-Woman

I have never played Contest of Champions. I mean, I'm aware of its existence and have seen a myriad of ads about it. I'm familiar with the concept; for what it is, it looks appealing, and the gameplay seems engaging enough. With all that said, though, I don't think I've ever been interested in it until now.

I swear, they can never be consistent with the color of her Venom-Blasts.

The next big event for Contest of Champions revolves around Jessica Drew herself--The First and The Best Spider-Woman. I do wish her green venom blasts were present.

Getting her in any game would be an amazing feeling! Not to mention, her in-game look is pretty good too!

So the video above is a deep dive into Spider-Woman's gameplay. I'll admit, a lot is going on and it's not a simple fighting game--there's a lot of stats, buffs, debuffs, and combo links that give this game a bit more than I expected. Also, the number of characters that are shown during Jess's deep dive- obscure and lost Marvel characters- is high in this game! It's amazing. But, again, none of them got me even thinking about this game until Spider-Woman/Jessica Drew came into the picture!

I don't know what's the focus on Jessica Drew is about, but I will say that seeing her ensnared with magical bindings is something I won't shy away from. Wish they wrapped the mystical tendrils around her mouth too, since she's pretty witty.

Will I be playing this game now? I doubt it. I mean, I'm not playing Fortnite even if they got Jessica Drew in there, aren't I? I just find it awesome that she's getting another spotlight shone down on her! Let's keep it going, Marvel!
