Wonder Woman! The Bread and Butter of the Heroine in Distress ideas! The one who paved the way for all Heroines to have a weakness against ropes and gags. If we talk about DC DiDs, we can't ever leave Wonder Woman out of the convo.

And what is a DC talk about its best Damsel in Distress without Lois Lane? While Diana Prince helped pioneer the trope of a powerful heroine getting turned into a helpless damsel, Lois Lane was in the front line of your everyday, feisty, powerless snoop becoming the bait for the superhero to rescue. Yeah, through the years, she's helped charge the idea of the Superhero love interests consistently needing time with the ropes (or tape... chains, etc).
Taking a break from bennypaan's art for a bit to admire this lovely piece of Batman Beyond saving Dana Tan. I don't know much about her other than she makes for a lovely damsel. Also, the B&W aesthetic really does give tension to Dana's Distress.
Raven is always going to be a delight in or out of Distress. Such a powerful gal whose bondage shenanigan makes it that much sweeter since she shouldn't find herself in these positions. Well, she DiD and she does! She can't complain much.
That Predator should consider gagging her, ya know? Usually, I don't condone such mishaps but Black Canary is looking rather Distressed even if it's for a few moments. Maybe Predator did something to her throat to prevent the Canary Cry? Oh well, get the gag going, sir!
The sequenced DiDness of eastcoastcanuck's art with these two TAS Damsels is definitely appreciated. Poison Ivy may not have gotten a lot of canonical moments like Lois DiD, but she's still always welcome to the fray! Lois, you, Miss, is a natural!
Being unable to chant spells must be rough for a magician like Zatanna. Then to be humiliated with magic.... yeah! This is the Zatanna DiD content we love!
The pic by SleepyComics is a nice little remake homage to Wonder Woman Issue 19 from 1988. Diana has gone through a lot of bondage, hasn't she? But suffice it to say, it needed some improvements. I do appreciate these remakes from the DiD community because it makes an already enticing picture into something that truly caters to the community. We do appreciate it, Sleepy!
Carrie Kelley is a Robin--and Robin is typically the GiD of DC. Strange how Carrie hasn't hit TuT or my crosshair as much. Not a lot of DiD art of her, honestly. I love this one.
Wonder Woman chair tied and chained? That's nothing new. Rorschach needs to gag her though. One can do a good interrogation while the damsel is gagged.
I know, I know! There's been a ton of Wonder Woman stuff in here. As I stated, Wonder Woman is a classic within the DiD realm. Also, a beach-themed Wonder Woman bound and gagged? Yes. Skele always does magic.
Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy can do some serious damage! And lookit here! Capturing Barbara Gordon and having their way with her. Fantastic.
